eHarmony is based in Los Angeles, California, and was founded in the year 2000. Dr Neil Clark Warren with his son-in-law founded it. The algorithm-based matchmaking of eHarmony has been a major factor in its 20-year success.

The majority of people believe eharmony is worth the money. But somewhere sometimes we want to make out profile invisible or hide our profile from people; the reason could be anything from taking a break to needing time to date someone in person. In this article, you will get to know all about it. So without any further delay let’s jump to the thing.

How do I change my visibility on the eHarmony site?

To change how you look to matches and how they appear to you, toggle on/off three distinct options in the Data & Settings – Manage Profile tab.

The three options to change visibility on eHarmony are:

1. Profile Visibility
2. Visitors
3. “Online Right Now”

VISIBILITY OF PROFILE

By following these procedures, you can make your profile invisible:

1. First, you need to sign in to your account.
2. To access the dropdown menu, click the arrow next to your photo at the top of the screen.
3. Select “Data & Settings” from the drop-down menu.
4. To make your profile invisible, go to the “Profile Visibility” area and click the green slider.
5. Your Home Page will display a banner informing you that your profile is currently unavailable.
6. If you disable your profile visibility, you will not be shown to other members in their matches list. 

The only exceptions are matches with whom you’ve started a conversation or those you’ve favourited. They’ll still be able to see your profile.

VISITORS

It can be turned off so that members don’t know when you’ve visited their profile.

1. Please sign in to your account.
2. To access the dropdown menu, click the arrow next to your photo at the top of the screen.
3. Select “Data & Settings” from the drop-down menu.
4. To make your profile invisible, go to the “Visitors” area and click the green slider.

Note that if your visitor list is disabled, you will not be able to see the users who have expressed an interest in your profile. You will also not appear on the list of visitors to members whose profiles you have viewed.

“ONLINE RIGHT NOW”

You have the option of notifying other users that you are now online.

1. sign in to your account.
2. To access the dropdown menu, click the arrow next to your photo at the top of the screen.
3. Select “Data & Settings” from the drop-down menu.
4. To make your profile invisible, go to the “Online Right Now” area and click the green slider.

Note that if you select ‘Do not display,’ you will not be able to see if other users are online right now.

How can you hide your eHarmony profile?

We all require some breathing room from time to time. If you’re not in the mood for dating, you can keep your profile invisible from time to time, however, this will not prevent fresh matches from appearing for you. You have the option to make your profile visible again at any time.

If you want to take a break and prevent new matches from viewing your profile*, follow these procedures to make your profile not visible:

1. Please sign in to your account.
2. To access the dropdown menu, click the arrow next to your photo at the top of the screen.
3. Select “Data & Settings” from the drop-down menu.
4. To make your profile invisible, click the green slider under “Profile Status.”
5. Your Home Page will display a banner informing you that your profile is presently unavailable.

What does it imply when a match on eHarmony vanishes?

Feelings of rejection and disappointment might arise when you are closed by a match, receive no answer to a communication request, or have a match abruptly disappear on you. Though it’s understandable to consider these events as negative, I encourage you to see them as positive!

When you block a match on eharmony, what do they see?

They have blocking capabilities. This problem is addressed by eHarmony’s blocking feature, which allows members to permanently remove a match from their list of matches, halt any conversations with the blocked match, and prevent the blocked match from viewing the member’s communications with them.

Why are the photographs on eHarmony blurry?

If you notice that all of the photographs are blurry, it’s because before upgrading to a paid membership, you can only see your matches and their profiles. Please note that matches who have already favourited you, visited you recently, or with whom you are already in communication may still be able to view your profile. This will only prevent new matches from seeing you if you haven’t already communicated with them.
