What Is Bumble Boost  – Features | Boost vs Premium

Bumble is a dating app that aims to eliminate disgusting and unwanted introductory texts. Men wait until the woman they’ve matched with has sent the first message before messaging her. The service is more about finding a match than setting up male-only chat rooms.

In the free version of dating apps, there is a swipe restriction. Before the upgrade to premium notification appears, you can only swipe right or like a profile several times. Bumble offers you unlimited swipes, too, if you purchase the feature.

This article will discuss the bumble boost and bumble premium features and the difference between the two. So, without any further delay, let’s know about them.

What is a Bumble boost?

Because of the more even male-to-female ratio among its users, Bumble has become known as a true dating app, whereas Tinder is often associated with hookups. Bumble Boost is getting a makeover to add even more features and a premium tier called Bumble Premium.

Bumble Boost is the more affordable of the two paid options, falling somewhere between Bumble and Bumble Premium. You won’t get some of the more exclusive features, but you will get most of the important ones for a much lower price.

The cost of Bumble Boost differs based on how long you sign up. In addition to three- and six-month subscriptions, you can subscribe daily, weekly, or monthly. The price of Boost may change as Bumble continues to test its paid features, but you’ll usually get a better deal if you sign up for a longer subscription.

Tap the grey silhouette in the left-hand corner of the screen to sign up for Boost. You’ll be taken to a screen where you can choose your subscription tier and the length of time you want to upgrade.

What are the features of a Bumble boost?

When you upgrade to Bumble Boost, you will  get the following features:

  1. Get an unlimited number of swipes.
  2. Rematch with connections that have expired.
  3. Make yourself the center of attention.
  4. Each week, use five SuperSwipes.
  5. Increase the duration of your matches by 24 hours.
  6. When you make an unintentional left swipe, you can undo it.

Unlimited Extends

When a match expires, the connection is usually lost. You can only “extend” one match per day without the upgrade, which keeps the connection in your queue for another 24 hours. You can do this with as many matches as you want with Unlimited Extends.

Unlimited swipe

This benefit entails you being able to swipe right on as many profiles as you want. Nonetheless, you must ensure that your decisions are deliberate. The Bumble algorithm does not appreciate you swiping right on everyone and then sorting out your matches later. This will almost certainly harm how and when your profile is shown to local singles.

Superswipe

Almost every dating app has a feature that allows you to boost your “like” to woo a potential match. Bumble does it with SuperSwipes. A Boost subscription includes 5 SuperSwipes per week and can also be purchased as an in-app purchase. Prices start at $6 for two and drop to $1.33 if you buy 30 at once. Rematch

If that first message isn’t sent, a “connection” usually expires after 24 hours, but you can use this feature to match with them again. Expired matches will reappear eventually, even if you aren’t using Bumble Boost. However, if you don’t use the Rematch feature, you’ll have to wait a long time for a specific person’s profile to appear in your match queue, especially if you live in a big city.

Spotlight

It isn’t just for premium members; anyone can buy it in-app whenever they want a 30-minute burst of increased exposure for their profile. Each week, Boost users receive one Spotlight. The “value” of a Spotlight varies depending on the quantity purchased – prices range from $5.99 for one to $30/$49.99 for 30.

Backtrack

Backtracking is still possible on Bumble, but only with a paid subscription. In 2020, Bumble’s free users could no longer use the Backtrack feature. However, with Boost, you can now undo a swipe left on Bumble by tapping the arrow in the upper left-hand corner.

Will I get more matches with bumble boost?

The more details you include in your profile, the better your chances of finding a match! Bumble Boost gives you more options for finding quality matches rather than quantity. Consider including up to six photos in your profile to increase the number of right swipes you receive.

What is bumble premium?

A Bumble Premium subscription is required to see who has already liked you. Beeline was previously a Boost perk, but it is now included with the top-tier membership. Other Bumble Premium benefits include hiding your profile until you swipe right on someone, swiping and matching in different locations, and applying as many filters to your match feed as you want.

It’s probably worth upgrading to Bumble Premium if you live in a densely populated area like New York City or Los Angeles. Extending the time limit or rematch with expired matches could mean distinguishing between making a connection and completely missing out. If you live in a less populated area, don’t bother with either Bumble upgrade. It’s simply not worth it because there aren’t enough Bumble users.

By clicking on the pixelated square in your match queue or the silhouette in the bottom-left corner of the app, and tapping on the Bumble Boost banner beneath your profile picture, you can sign up for Bumble Premium. You’ll also have the option of signing up for Bumble Boost or purchasing Spotlight credits as a one-time transaction.

What are the features of bumble premium?

Bumble Premium includes the following features:

  1. Advanced filters are available indefinitely.
  2. You can see your admirers by accessing your Beeline.
  3. You can change your location to another city using the travel mode.
  4. You can undo left swipes by going backward.
  5. You’ll be able to extend the time limit on your current matches.
  6. Rematch with users who have passed their expiration date.
  7. You have an unlimited number of swipes.
  8. Once a week, there will be a Spotlight. For 30 minutes, this feature moves your profile to the top of the stack, making it visible to more people.
  9. Each week, you’ll get five SuperSwipes. You can SuperSwipe a user’s profile to show that you’re serious about them.
  10. Incognito Mode

Bumble boost vs. bumble premium

Bumble Premium is the more expensive subscription package, with all of the features listed above for Bumble Boost, plus five more. SuperSwipe and Spotlight credits are not included if you subscribe to our daily Bumble Boost. You can sign up for Bumble Premium by clicking on the pixelated square in your match queue or viewing both options by clicking on the pixelated square in your match queue. Select your preferred subscription by clicking the silhouette in the bottom left-hand corner.

Access to your Beeline was originally part of the legacy Bumble Boost – it’s a list of everyone who has swiped right on you but hasn’t seen you yet. You can see and swipe through your Beeline at any time with Bumble Premium, so if you want the instant gratification of a match, you know where to look.

However, if you upgrade to Bumble Premium, you can use as many filters as you want. You can choose any location for your profile to appear for seven days once you activate Travel Mode. Incognito Mode gives you more control over who has access to your profile. When you enable Incognito Mode, your profile will only be visible to users you’ve given permission to see it.

The bottom line

Bumble’s free trial is completely risk-free. You can take out your smartphone, and your Google Play or iTunes account will be linked to it. You won’t be charged anything unless you upgrade to a Bumble Boost or Bumble Premium plan or purchase some Spotlights – the choice is entirely yours.

Please remember that Bumble Boost and Premium aren’t available to everyone. Boost and Premium are available for iPhone users, but Android users must be in Australia, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom.
